Home of the people with cancer – Varna
Together in the fight against cancer, in the name of life!

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PUBLISH YOUR REVELATIONS,

SEND THEM TO US!

I did not surrender so YOU should not give up either!

My dear friends,

I embrace you sincerely and would like to give you of my strength, my desire for life and the great love that I bear.

I dare to engage your attention at the most difficult moment of your life for your health problem was mine, too. Back then when I was lying alone in the hospital bed, I wanted to hear the words:
"Do not give up, you are not alone! You have the strength to fight!"

I am happy that today I myself can tell you those words. Before I got sick, I did not know I could deal with such serious illness. Now I am more certain than ever - even the most terrible disease is to win from, you should have close adherents, desire for life, deep faith and a lot of love. The battle against the disease is cruel but trust me - this is your battle in which you must win! Do not count on your relatives only, they certainly are even more scared than you are!

You can call me any time you want!
Find your new friend with similar destiny!

The abilities to deal with the situation increase once you understand what you are exposed to, when you receive emotional support and can chat with others about what you are feeling. I am convinced that if you are not on your own, it will be easier to find the reason to fight! Do not stick to the suffering! Leave your heart open to the wonders and beauty of life! Trust me, I am your friend. I know the pain and fear, I have passed along the way you are walking. I know the difficulties and the despair but also - the hope, the faith, the love and thankfulness. The very thought of the experience being behind my back gives me wings. I became ill more than five years ago.

I learned a very important lesson - one has to love and to care for himself just as much as for others. Even more!

Now I am different, happier, more grateful and somehow more superior to the small things in life.

I openly share these thoughts because I am aware how many people need a hand stretched this way.

Let us together learn to live with the diagnosis “CANCER”, placing the emphasis on the word "LIVE”!

With love, Yana Georgieva

Dear boys and girls of all ages,
my new unknown friends!

I did not want to accept being diagnosed, lived long with the shock of the surgery, I was even afraid to get out of the hospital. Only recently I managed to get over the crisis and the stress, changing with total indifference and acquiescence, while the active treatment with chemicals and radiotherapy was going on.

About five years ago I decided to fight in the name of my mom and my children. In order to be able to move forward I had to collect courage grain by grain: from doctors and nurses, women with a common destiny in the hospital room, from relatives, friends and colleagues, from the novel "Lightning" by Danielle Steel, even from the strange woman in pension who had experienced our pain and mishap twenty years ago and whom I met in the Sea garden at a time of despair and sadness and she was absolutely clear that I should not give up.

Life is not just pink and happy for none of us. Time really helps and heals, and the events happening around and in our families are worth spoiling for a fight each and every day.

And here again, I sense positive feelings: I smile, I enjoy the beauty around me, obtain peace and confidence from the sea, I look and find joy in my grey daily life, I am even happy to go to work, where the tasks make me forget the diagnosis, make me feel useful and needed, and the honest and benevolent attitude, the simple "Good afternoon” said with a smile, gives me strength, at least for today while tomorrow should wait.

Today we can be easily hurt, more sensitive but also stronger, with desires and dreams for the future.

Each of us decides on her or his own what to do with life but in any case it must go on. It is a little bit easier when there is someone you can lean on, who can understand you, with whom you can share your fears, someone who is months or maybe years ahead in this battle for our lives.

That is why we gathered and founded the Association so do not just pass by the Home of the people with cancer if something is bothering you.

It is very difficult, but the nice day of tomorrow, the meetings with true friends, the shining face of the unknown kid is worth our effort!

Still life is beautiful, right!?

With sincere sympathies, Anna Todorova

We are one of you!

Friendly greetings!

We are one of you passed along the hard way in the fight against the disease.
We know how difficult it is to explain to someone what the taste of peaches is, if he has never tasted it.

You can say it is juicy, fresh, sweet but not to share the sense of its smell.

It is he same trying to explain what the chemotherapy is or what experience the people who need to have it.

We know its taste and how you feel during a treatment and how weak we are after that and what are the related problems.

We know that we can not change what happened to us but we can change our attitude towards life, to clean it from self-pity, stress and alienation.

Each of us was helped by someone and we want to share our support with you. We expect you to share with us, too.

Even if you are unable to solve your problem, we will endeavour and then try again.

We believe that nothing comes freely and we own ourselves to keep proving we deserve to live better, to accept our sickness for ourselves and for the people who love us.

We are aware that not only the problems associated with medicines and supplies are those which trouble us.

You will always find people among us who will listen to you and understand.

We believe that when you decided to find us, you are already motivated to find a solution and when you are looking for a solution there is no way to not find the right direction!

Sincerely, Penka Derelieva
